VeridayCheck — Terms of Service

Welcome to VeridayCheck (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of VeridayCheck’s website, products, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

 
1. What VeridayCheck Does (and What It Does Not Do)
VeridayCheck collects, organizes, and displays information that is:

publicly visible on the internet,
owned and controlled by third-party websites, and
voluntarily requested by and disclosed to you, the account owner.
We are:

 a public information check company,
not a consumer reporting agency (CRA), and
not providing hiring recommendations, eligibility decisions, or screenings.
The Service is informational only and is designed to help you understand what publicly visible information may appear online when others search for you. 

 
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.
You may only use the Service to request public information.

 
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for:

maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials,
all activity under your account, and
ensuring the information you provide is accurate.
Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

 
4. Privacy
We collect information necessary to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Service, you authorize VeridayCheck to search public online sources solely to generate a report for your account.

We do not collect:

criminal background records,
credit reports,
government-restricted data, or
any information that is not publicly visible online.
 
5. Payments, Refunds, Pricing, and Delivery
Fees must be paid before a report is generated.

Once a purchase is completed, VeridayCheck will begin processing a public-information report based on the information you provide.
Your report will be delivered as a PDF file to the email address associated with your account within approximately 3–5 business days.
The report includes a summary of publicly available online information and a certificate-style confirmation that a Public Information Check was completed.

Because reports are generated on-demand and begin processing immediately:

All sales are final once processing has started.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to data availability or third-party system delays.
Pricing may change at any time with notice on the site.

 
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:

request or attempt to access a report about anyone other than yourself,
use the Service for tenant screening, lending, insurance, or other regulated eligibility decisions,
misrepresent or misuse any information included in your report,
attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
Violations may result in account suspension and legal action.

 
7. Intellectual Property
VeridayCheck and all content, software, design, and materials we provide are owned by us or our licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own personal informational purposes.

 
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee:

accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any public information,
that all public sources will be included,
uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service.
Public online data can change at any time.

 
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

VeridayCheck and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.
In no event will our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific report in question.
 
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold VeridayCheck harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

your misuse of the Service,
your sharing or publication of report contents,
your violation of these Terms.
 
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for:

violations of these Terms,
unlawful behavior,
attempts to misuse or abuse the Service.
You may discontinue use at any time by closing your account.

 
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms periodically.
The most recent version will always be posted on our website.
Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

 
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any dispute must be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis.
You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
